Sat, 29 September 2007 This week on Jeff and Aaron's DVD Extravaganza we conclude our look at the Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons by examining the classics. The Looney Tunes and the Merry Melodies cartoon shorts were created back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. During the late 60s, these animation classics found their way to Saturday Morning and remained their throughout the Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons. In fact, the Looney Tunes characters are still around appearing on WB Kids and the Cartoon Network in one form or another. This week Jeff takes a look at the Loney Tunes premiere DVD collection which features 28 cartoon shorts from the Warner Bros. Animation Studios.
